Every Year normally Tamilnadu government is announcing a new investor friendly policy with a view to boosting Information and communications technology (ICT) industry and attract fresh investments in the state. While the new policy is progressive, it is important that State government takes necessary steps to implement it.
Industry representatives want the Tamilnadu government to accord top priority in addressing the power deficit in the state. Concerned efforts to improve the power situation are essential. Uninterrupted quality power will help the Information and communications technology (ICT) industry reatin its competitiveness and also skilled workforce.

The State ranks high with an annual turnout of about 1,92,000 Engineering Graduates and an equal number of trained Polytechnic students which offers immense scope for the establishment of Knowledge based Industries and Services in the State.
